   Description

The relationship officer will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing relationships with clients the your assigned portfolio. The primary responsibilities will involve driving sales and marketing initiatives, managing loan collections, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met while fostering trust and loyalty towards our financial services.


   Duties & Responsibilities

MARKETING- Identifying both prospective and existing clients needs then march them with the solutions we provide to grow the business through

New client’s acquisition

Repeat purchase by existing clients

Cross selling of company products to our clients

Collecting client feedback for process and product improvement


LOAN MONITORING AND COLLECTIONS- Take a keen interest in our client’s

business to support their growth and ensure timely loans repayment by

Properly educating the clients on our product terms and conditions

Properly educating the clients on the benefits of a good repayment history

Aligning client’s repayment with good business days

Creating a culture where late repayments are unacceptable


DELIQUENCY MANAGEMENT- Keep our risk exposure at the minimum company acceptable levels by

Ensuring that loans sizes and terms are geared towards the borrower’s present

repayment capability

Analyzing business activities to identify and avoid funding high risk ones

Analyzing seasons with difficulties in loan repayment and taking steps to minimize risk exposure

Continue with collection efforts until loans are fully recovered


CUSTOMER SERVICE- Build a good self and company reputation to grow customer loyalty by

Always ensuring you have polished first contacts/impressions with clients

Being respectful and diligent when dealing with people

Keeping promises

Being effective in handling customer complains


   Skills & Experience

Diploma is Sales and Marketing or related field
Good communication and customer service skills
Good negotiation skills
